Details:
To provide an efficient effective technical support and advice service to the Police including the maintenance of technical equipment
•To hold HND or equivalent qualification in electronic/communications.
•Demonstrate experience of working with minimum supervision and using own initiative.
•To have practical experience of working in an electronics/communications/ audio or visual environment undertaking all aspects e.g. installing, repairing, servicing equipment.
•To have previously worked in an environment where confidentiality has been essential.
•Demonstrate having used effective oral communication skills when conveying information of a technical nature to people with little or no knowledge.
•Demonstrate experience of preparing management style reports.
•Have a general background in computer / audio or visual technology.
•Hold a full manual car driving licence.
•Be able to fulfil an on-call requirement of the role – one week in three.
