G4S Police Recruit require someone with:
Proven ability to make decisions and establish priorities under conflicting demands
Experience of communicating and influencing successfully at all levels with internal/external customers and suppliers.
A high degree of computer literacy, especially in MS Office software.
To assess the implications of the Safer Detention Guidance action plan.
To make an initial assessment of the gap between where the Force is with each action and where it needs to be to comply with the guidance.
Where necessary make recommendations about resources and options to close that gap and in appropriate cases implement those changes.
1. To review the current custody arrangements by the provision of a baseline and gap analysis. 30%
2. To assess and provide options for implementation of Safer Detention Guidelines. 30%
3. To support through monitoring and evaluation, the Force BCU activity through the implementation of Safer
Detention action plans to increase public satisfaction and confidence. 15%
4. Support and undertake project, using appropriate recognised techniques, for the gathering, recording and analysis of data and for problem solving, in order to provide effective delivery of project objectives and recommendations to improve the end to end custody process in Thames Valley. 15%
5. Assist and support the production of the required project management document. As well as plan and monitor the project to ensure the project is kept on track, within scope. 5%
6. Be responsible for the management of project risks and issues, including the development of contingency plans.
Ensure risks and issues are escalated where appropriate and communicating these through project meetings where necessary to ensure successful delivery of the project. 5%
