An opportunity has arisen for supervisors to work in our Force Information Room. Force Information Room (FIR) Supervisors are responsible for an area team of staff tasked with providing a quality, timely communications network and control system to Essex Police and its customers.
This includes ensuring adequate staffing levels and supervising the progress of all incidents in accordance with force policy and procedure.
You must be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and reliability and resilience in difficult circumstances.
You must also have, and be able to evidence, experience of managing and developing people including: supervision, monitoring of performance, addressing discipline and grievances and developing individuals and teams.
You should also have excellent customer service skills and have experience of and an appreciation of maintaining the quality of processes and procedures.
