Could you make critical decisions aimed at protecting young children and vulnerable adults?
The Criminal Records Bureau is looking for suitable candidates to work in its Disclosure Unit. You will be involved in vital work, involving the processing of applications from a wide range of professionals such as teachers, nurses and carers who want to work with young people or vulnerable adults.
As a Disclosure Operator you will be asked to evaluate confidential information from police sources which might relate to crimes committed or intelligence about an individual, and assess whether it should be disclosed to a potential employer.
Your ability to consider the facts and make analytical decisions will have a bearing on just who works with children and vulnerable adults, and may prevent incidences of abuse or neglect.
