Nottinghamshire Police has a continuing commitment to the development of its problem solving intelligence led approach.
As a Senior Intelligence Analyst you will be required to manage and direct the activity of a small group of analysts and play a significant role in the development of tactical and strategic assessments. You will attend Tasking and Co-Ordination meetings and advise senior managers on National Intelligence model activity.
As the lead for the intelligence analytical function within the Division Intelligence Unit you will be responsible for developing, providing and maintaining an effective intelligence analytical capability at a strategic, tactical and evidential level, supporting corporate and operational strategies, in the highly specialised and technical area of intelligence analysis.
You will need to have analytical experience within a policing or similar background with significant experience in order to facilitate the development of the analyst role. It is important that you are able to fulfil the criteria required and be able to provide the strategic approach this post is looking for.
