The Vetting Unit currently deals with some 130,000 Criminal Record Bureau Applications per annum.
Working as part of the Vetting Unit team, the primary function of Research Officer is to interrogate numerous complex database systems, identifying relevant information held by Essex Police, in order to assist safeguarding vulnerable members of society.
Working within this confidential, pressurised target driven environment it is essential that you are a self motivated individual, who is able to organise your own workload, and remain focused at all times on accuracy and attention to detail.
There will be an assessment test as part of this recruitment process.
