Liaising with outside agencies and other police forces you will assist in the collection of intelligence, collating and profiling information to identify real, potential or emerging problems.
Using legal knowledge to good operational effect you have an understanding of terrorism and related legislation together with knowledge of RIPA 2000 and the National Intelligence Model. With investigative ability you will analyse large amounts of information and explore all alternatives before implementing action. You will have experience of intelligence gathering operations and preparing prosecution files and have achieved an Investigative interview training course. A current UK driving license and access to a vehicle for business use is also essential to this role.
Hours: 36.25 per week (flexibility required dependant upon operational need)
