Technical Officer (Mobile Communications Support)
You will primarily install, upgrade, test and repair mobile communication equipment, in a variety of force vehicles. You may also be called upon to carry out such tasks on force fixed communication systems.
A proven knowledge and experience of vehicle installation and fault rectification techniques is essential. You will ideally have specific knowledge and experience of Tetra/Airwave Mobile communication systems and be computer literate and competent to use Microsoft Office products.
Using your full clean driving licence, you should be willing to use own vehicle, authorised police vehicles or hire vehicles in the course of duties.
