You will manage the day to day activities within the Procurement Department including office management, implementation of policies and procedures, collection and reporting of statistics in relation to office disciplines and systems.

You will be responsible for contributing to development and regularly reviewing strategies, plans and manage resources to ensure effective support to the Force. You will also provide a full and efficient confidential support service to the Head of Procurement, including monitoring of budgets during the fixed term contract.

It is essential that you have (or are working towards) a nationally recognised management qualification and Certificate in Personnel Practice, or equivalent. You must have the ability to lead, motivate and influence staff to achieve objectives, as well as work effectively and accurately with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of IT skills is required.
