Job Title: Community Safety Officer – Fixed term contract
Location: Thorpe Wood Police Station, Peterborough
Salary: Starting on £21501 and rising to £22992 p.a. (after relevant satisfactory service)
Job Description : You will be working with other agencies and police staff to develop community safety programmes which tackle the causes of crime as well as informing and supporting the police response to the Crime and Disorder Act, with the aim of reducing crime and the fear of crime.
If you are a pro-active, self starter with flare and initiative and have previous experience of project management, working with other agencies, good IT and communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your workload we would like to hear from you. We will provide full support and training to enable you to fulfil this challenging role.
