You will be the first point of contact with the public providing a consistently high quality customer focused service.
Your role will include the receiving and recording of crime complaints as the first stage of the investigation process. You will also receive and record all requests for police assistance. Providing timely advice to both internal and external customers is essential as is keeping supervisory officers informed and up to date. Maintaining the security of the front foyer is a key responsibility to include the issue and collection of visitor security passes.
You will have the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and have good problem solving skills. It is essential you have proven customer service skills, with a particular focus on engaging effectively with people in potentially confrontational encounters. A good general educational background is required as well as good keyboard skills and the ability to learn and use IT packages effectively in particular Microsoft Office.
