Details:
G4S Police Recruit are looking for a Smoke Free Officer to conduct the following:
• Visiting business around the town advising on smoke free legislation and procedures
• Communicating both the councils stand on this legislation and also the local PCT (Primary Care Trust)
• If awareness and education has been exhausted then take enforcement action and issue FPN’s (Fixed penalty notices) This will be a last resort
• Attend partnership meeting with PCT on behalf of our client
• Some (and rarely) Mystery shopping on taxi ranks and conducting basic vehicle inspections
The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:
• Computer Literate
• Good communication both written and verbal
• Has the ability adapt to each individual case and judge on own merit
Desirable skills will also include:
• Experience of using Flair Computer system
• Experience of working within a ‘partnership’ set-up
• Smoke free experience or other licensing experience including Taxi licensing
