Nottinghamshire Police has a continuing commitment to the development of its problem solving intelligence led approach.
As a Intelligence Analyst you are required to be well versed in all-analytical skills, and will focus on developing and supporting problem solving initiatives. You are required to make a direct contribution in the reduction of crime, crime detection and community safety. This will be achieved through researching, interpreting and presenting data from a diverse range of sources in a multi agency environment and in line with Force strategies.
You will need to think laterally and objectively and have confidence in presenting your findings to a wide range of audiences. You must have a high level of mathematics and written/spoken English to A level standard or equivalent, or at least two years experience within the field of analysis. It is important that you possess excellent communication skills, proven experience in the use of IT systems and can demonstrate a high level of personal integrity.
