Community Safety Bureau (CSB) Emerging Business Co-ordinator
Based in Hamilton, Leicester
To support the aims of the Community Safety Bureau (CSB) by undertaking responsibility for key and emerging work streams and to support individual team members with projects and events, delivering to deadlines.
It is essential that applicants:
-Are qualified to "A" Level Grade C or above in English Language or equivalent and/or have experience in a post requiring the use of English Language to the above standard;
Demonstrate ability in, or experience of:
-Working in a customer focused environment where the ability to resolve queries and enquiries, both face to face and over the phone, has been critical to effective service delivery;
-Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail whilst working to strict deadlines in a pressurised environment;
-Developing and working within procedural guidelines making decisions as necessary;
-Data input and document preparation ,both statistical and text, on Windows based packages where attention to detail is vital;
Planning, prioritising and organising workloads
Demonstrate ability to:
-Use own initiative to successfully overcome problems;
Be able to achieve results when working without direct supervision;
-Motivate yourself and others in order to achieve objectives;
-Utilise highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills, to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels, influencing and negotiating with others, whilst maintaining good working relationships with a diverse range of people
-Utilise aptitude for dealing with challenging customer enquiries;
-Demonstrate a level of awareness of diversity issues appropriate to this role;
-Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
-Possess RSA 1 Word Processing or an equivalent qualification, or be able to demonstrate ability to produce documents to that standard;
-Demonstrate ability to produce and present statistical information for use by management.
