Dog Handler Instructor – Lincoln
Salary: Grade SOG 23-25 (£22,233 - £23,847) Plus shift allowance.
An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen within the training section of Lincolnshire Police. Based at the Force Dog Training School, we are looking for a Dog Handler Instructor. The successful applicant will be part of a small, dedicated team delivering training and assessment to all Lincolnshire Police dog handlers and dogs. The training involves both general and specialist training, delivered at diverse locations countywide.
The successful applicant will have already passed the national instructors course for dog handler instructors or demonstrate the ability to do so. Previous experience of operational dog handling is essential.
The post holder will be expected to wear uniform as provided by Lincolnshire Police.
The post holder will be expected to work a shift pattern (not full nights), including weekends.
The interview will involve practical testing and interview.
