Recording and dealing with incoming telephone calls to the office, you will identify all ‘actionable’ intelligence by means of research using computerised systems and disseminate to the appropriate division, department or force. You will also deal with requests for information, including those originating from GMP staff and other agencies and undertake research and produce National Intelligence Model Packages or other intelligence packages or reports, making enquiries with GMP Units third parties where appropriate.
With the ability to produce written work to the required standard, you will have carried out research and analytical tasks and have keyboard experience and knowledge of computer applications. Capable of communicating to meet the needs of the audience and of prioritising work is also essential to this role.
The post is based at Bradford Park, but will be relocating to Ashton Under Lyne in Autumn 2008.
