Salary range £9,330 - £11,078/£11,321 p.a. 25 hour week. Reference No. H03/11
Working as part of the departmental Support Services team, this post will predominantly provide comprehensive administrative support to the Operations and Planning unit within Force Operations. This diverse and interesting role will require the successful candidate to perform a range of functions, including creating and maintaining databases, managing diaries and recording and producing accurate minutes for various meetings. It will also entail regular liaison with personnel from other public agencies.
To be part of this rapidly expanding and significant new business area, the successful candidate will possess: -
Previous experience at office administrator level
Education to GCSE level or equivalent, including English Language
RSA II typing or equivalent
The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Competency in the use of IT including Microsoft packages
Proven ability to work under pressure
Previous experience in producing accurate and concise minutes at meetings.
The ability to work as part of a team.

An Assessment Centre consisting of typing tests, will be held on Thursday 3rd April 2008. With successful candidates invited for interview on Tuesday 15th April 2008.
