An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Team. Our brief is to raise awareness of the policing services offered by the force and to encourage communities to play an active role in reducing crime and anti-social behaviour in their neighbourhood.
We need someone with flair and enthusiasm to lead on the development of our Local Policing communications. Responsibilities will include writing newsletters and leaflets, developing content for the force’s website, internal communications and developing crime prevention campaigns to support operational policing activities.
You will need relevant experience in a marketing / communications role plus a suitable qualification. In addition, you will need to demonstrate a strategic approach, creative writing skills, experience of e-communications and a ‘can do’ attitude.
