HOLMES Manager – Major Crime Unit - Sleaford
An opportunity has arisen for the post of HOLMES Manager based within the Lincolnshire Police’s Major Crime Unit at Sleaford.
As a post holder you will be expected to manage the Force HOLMES 2 computer system and other associated major crime support systems.
You will be fully conversant with the national ‘Major Investigation Standardised Administrative Procedures’ and ideally have practical knowledge of putting those procedures into place.
Your responsibilities will include the initial setting up of major incident rooms and ensuring the management of the Forces capability to respond to such an incident. It will also include management of staff working within such incidents, to oversee and mange the provision of HOLMES 2 training throughout the Force, and represent the Force at Regional and National level.
As such you must possess good interpersonal skills, have previous management experience and be able to communicate to all level of audiences both in verbal and written formats. The post holder will also need to be able to prioritise demands and be able to cope under pressure for long periods, adhering to strict time limits.
You must be able to promote equality and treat all persons with dignity and respect.
You will also hold a full current driving licence.
