Details:
We are looking for 3 Detention Officers to work in a very modern custody suite run by the police force.
Day to day duties in the custody suite are:
Book in detainees brought in by police officers.
Ensure the welfare of the prisoners.
Electronic fingerprinting, taking DNA, substance/prisoner drug testing, dealing with doctors/social workers/solicitors, compiling and amending computerized custody records and searching and documentation of prisoners and their property.
Full Training is provided but previous experience in a police officer role would be preferred.
