You will supervise and develop staff ensuring the accurate recording of relevant information and maximising forensic opportunities together with advising police officers or other agencies with regards to the identification of firearms, ammunition or firearms related articles providing guidance of the firearms Acts where necessary.
You will have worked in a firearms related environment with extensive knowledge firearms handling with the ability to disassemble and make safe a wide range of firearm types. You will be fully conversant with the current Firearms Act, Health and Safety requirements and computer applications, as well as possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills and an extensive knowledge of firearms history and the manufacturing process.
