Salary: £22,038 to £28,368 (career graded) p.a. plus standby/call out, telephone and casual car user allowances
You will provide a Secretariat function to the Force Technical User Group and Force Technical Support Standards meetings. Supervising staff, you will undertake performance appraisals, deal with attendance management, conduct and capability issues as well as managing the administration function for the Units.
Educated to HNC Level or with relevant experience of working with and deploying covert surveillance equipment. You will have supervisory experience and knowledge of equipment and techniques used in CCTV, electronics, video, photographic, audio surveillance techniques and an understanding of the National Intelligence Model.
Computer literate with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and with excellent communication skills, you will elicit relevant information from customers relating to practical technical solutions to business needs.
Duty hours will be within the band of 8.00am and 10.00pm rostered shifts, however, due to operational needs flexibility may be required.
Applicants will also be required to work a Rota call out system once every five weeks and must possess a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes and be physically fit.
