It's not just our uniformed officers who make sure Hertfordshire is a safer place to be, there are many other people carrying out vital jobs within the Constabulary.
We currently have a number of posts for the role of Statement Taker based at Hemel Hempstead and Watford.
Help us investigate crime by compiling crucial evidence. You'll obtain statements from Victims and Witnesses of Crime and prepare statements and handle other important administrative duties as necessary. Well organised with good keyboard and communication skills, you'll need confidence and experience in dealing with the public in a variety of situations.
A current driving licence is necessary, as you must be prepared to travel around the County, meeting and taking statements at home addresses where necessary.
Hours of work will be based on a shift system.
