You will manage staff in the unit, organising and managing the list of external trainers used by GMP, procuring external training contracts for the force such as First Aid Training, organising and managing the Independent Advisory Group and the Diversity Action Group meetings and monitoring and managing the Diversity
Action Plan for the branch.
You will prepare the force's training prospectus, manage training related quality assurance processes and compliance across GMP to research and develop training related strategies for the organisation.
With knowledge of training and quality assurance models, theories and methods you will have the ability to develop and manage quality assurance/control systems and to present information.
Experience of working with quality assurance systems and of managing staff is essential and you will have worked as a trainer or instructor and developed a range of training courses for various levels of staff as well as providing an advisory service and researching issues.
Keyboard experience and knowledge of computer applications is also essential to the role.
Applicants must possess a full driving licence.
Hours: 14.5 per week - days to be arranged.
