Schemes specialist George Burrows appoints Steve Ferris from Forces Financial
George Burrows, the specialist insurance services provider for the police and fire services, has boosted its team by appointing Steve Ferris as Associate Director.
Ferris has 14 years experience in creating and managing police schemes. He previously worked for Stuart Harvey/Forces Financial as Police Group Schemes Business Manager. He was responsible for client relationships, broking, documentation and day-to-day portfolio management.
Ferris said: “I am delighted to join the George Burrows team which I believe is now the market leading organisation for expertise in the police and fire services group insurance business.
“The combined knowledge and depth of experience within the George Burrows team in Horsham is second to none. My aim is to integrate with the team and help support, maintain and develop our excellent client and business relationships for the future. I believe that working together, we will set the agenda for how group insurance schemes are looked after. This will be for the benefit of Police Federations, Fire services, and most importantly scheme members, for the future.”
